I found an incredible infographic on the basics of intermittent fasting, which covers a variety of fasting diets including the 16 hour diet, often just called 16/8 or some variation on that theme, and a range of other fasting and eating windows that I think you’ll find incredibly useful.

This visual  gives a nice, easy to understand guide to types of intermittent fasting, eating windows, and more. But as mentioned, it’s still possible to overeat whilst fasting, and many people do. Some people find that fasting causes them to binge, if that’s you, stop fasting, simple as that. You can lose weight just fine on 1,2,4,…or more meals a day. But intermittent fasting does have some pretty nice potential benefits, and I definitely advocate giving it a shot. You might, as I do, find that it is an excellent way to feel good, and maintain a healthy body composition.
